RIP Brittany

Brittany Murphy arguably one of the cutest stars of our times died at her place. The reason for her death still not clear. This is the second such death in recent times the last being that of Heath Ladger who died of a drug overdose..anyways this isnt where i scrutinise why these two stars died at such an early age but a tribute to Brittany. I remember most for her role in Newly Married where she had a schoolgirl like innocence which i had fallen in love with..I remember her briefly in 8 mile a movie which is now known more for Eminem's role than hers but nonetheless you couldnt miss Brittany....all i wanna say is i will miss you watching on screen....and may god give strength to your family and may your soul rest in peace. I would just like to quote what Ashton Kutcher who happened to date her for a while had to say about her....

'2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out to Brittany's family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon. See you on the other side kid.'

Vasco da Gama

its been a month and half since I have been in Goa and I have to say the hype is not justified when you actually live in this place for this long.Goa is fine for a week long holiday at best but anythin more and you end up as a drunk! the booze is unbelievably cheap and in a place like Vasco which has nothing else to offer booze is the only escape. Vasco is a shabby dirty place with buildings which are right out of a cheap b grade bollywood horror flick. Other than the N number of bars the place really has nothing else to offer. The food sucks. I have been forced to have fish curry rice fish fry and more of the same again and again day in and day out and whole lotta Royal Stag being true to my name! needless to say all the booze has accentuated my laziness and i resemble a zombie and keep asking people to repeat stuff over and over again.it takes the mind a lot more chances to register these days.i guess i had heard that fish makes the mind sharper and the booze makes it slower. i should try to increase my intake of fish to balance the booze. the most striking difference with the culture of goa with the rest of the country can be seen in cats and dogs....they are extraordinarily lazy compared to their counterparts elsewhere..a cat elsewhere would run if you were to come close to it .here they just sleep on a chair and wouldnt budge even if you were pat him hard on his back..more on next post gotta go home and catch the last of india's batting
