ha ha ha !

I diggg comedies although sometimes I feel I love a good adrenalin filled action movie more than a comedy...but that is not true...action movies have a shelf life...the visual impact creates more lasting memories than say a funny dialogue..so you tend to remember all the action sequences but not necessarily remember all the funny dialogues and comic one liners... so whenever i do watch a comedy the second or the third or the fourth time I end up laughin my guts out each time everytime...My most memorable funny movie has to be Bad Santa...surprsing since Billy bob thornton is not known for comedy but serious stuff like monster's ball where i am sure he had a ball :P but jokes apart this movie was a benchmark in comedy with the choicest of expletives used in abundance and the comic timing of each expletive was PERRRFECT and the film just worked so well becuz it was just so unexpected! who could have thought BBT could do comedy! comin to the rest of the best funny guys in the business I think it has to be a close call between Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell. 5 years ago i would have said there is no one close to Sandler but now I have to give to ma man Ferrell...his comic timing and facial expressions are simply unbelievable....gimme an anchorman: the legend of ron burgandy, old school, talladega nights or step brothers anyday and I will watch it like it was my first time. Even movies where he has just a cameo are enough to tickle your funny bone...starsky and Hutch being point in case. I still need to see blades of glory which i dunno how i have missed! Adam is again a hilarious guy...billy madison, mr deeds, big daddy, the waterboy and happy gilmore are truly the most memorable ones..now that he has moved on to doing more serious roles he has fallen out of favor with me!stand up comedians are again really talented people infact if i am not wrong both ferrell and sandler were stand up comedians bfore they became huge stars...i think Russell Peters and Dave Chapelle are the best in the business....with Chapelle being a cut above the rest...he can actually make you clutch your guts and cry...another guy I like but who i think is overrated is Pablo Fransesco...he is more of mimicry artist than a stand up comedian..closer home i think hera pheri and andaaz apna apna are the two superbly hilarious movies and nothing in the recent past comes even close...and in kannada movies I think Jaggesh Rocks...anyways I think making people laugh is the hardest thing to do and all the those who do succeed really deserve an applause...keep spreadin the joy guys..its you guys who keep the sanity of this world intact
